BJP withdraws from Palakkad all-party meeting 2022

Palakkad | The BJP walked out of an all-party meeting convened at the Palakkad Collectorate following the killings of SDPI and RSS workers. Within minutes of the start of the all-party meeting, the BJP delegates were leaving. The BJP justified the boycott by saying that it had said what it had to say and that an all-party meeting should have been called earlier when such incidents had taken place.

BJP state leader C Krishnakumar said that the police and the government were with the killers and therefore such a meeting was a farce. The all-party meeting was chaired by Power Minister K Krishnankutty and was attended by MPs, MLAs and representatives of various parties. SDPI representatives are also participating. Though the BJP has stepped down, the all-party meeting is progressing.
