Keralites held hostage by Houthi rebels released 2022

Sanaa / New Delhi | Three Keralites held hostage by Houthi rebels in Yemen have been released. The Houthis released Dipash (37) from Maypayyoor, Kozhikode, Akhil from Alappuzha and Sreejith from Kottayam. They have been held hostage since last January.

The ship on which they were working was taken hostage by Houthi rebels last January. The ship belonged to a UAE company. A total of 11 Indians were on board the ship.
