Police arrest CPI leaders in Jahangirpuri Binoy Vishwam says they are not cowards
New Delhi: Police have stopped CPI leaders from reaching Jahangirpuri. D. Police arrested Raja, Annie Raja and Binoy Vishwam. The leaders demanded that they visit the site of the demolition and talk to the people. But the police did not admit it and then the leaders and the police got into a fight.

Buildings in Jahangirpuri, Delhi, were bulldozed for allegedly being built illegally. The move by the BJP-ruled North Delhi Municipal Corporation came in defiance of a Supreme Court order to stop the evacuation of encroachments in Jahangirpuri.
Brinda Karat arrived at the scene and demanded that the building be demolished. Bulldozers came to demolish the buildings and were stopped by Brinda Karat.
