Dubai | Syed Ibrahimul Khalil Al Bukhari, General Secretary of the Kerala Muslim Jamaat, said that Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was distinguished by the fact that the concept of a humane and progressive welfare state was practiced and set an example in modern times. He was delivering the keynote address at the Sheikh Zayed Memorial Meeting organized by the Madinah Academy at Woodlam Park School, Dubai. The event was organized by Sheikh Zayed Humanitarian Day to mark the 18th anniversary of the UAE Father of the Nation.
Sheikh Zayed’s messages are even more relevant today, when religious, racial and linguistic differences lead to wars between nations. Khalil Thangal said that his vision is to give impetus to the Emirate, which is surviving the epidemic and moving forward with strength.
Khalil presented the New Dubai Committee with a special award announced by the Madinah Committee for adding more members to the membership campaign. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the online quiz competition held in connection with the Badr Remembrance. The program concluded with Badr remembrance and prayers.
Koottampara Abdul Rahman Darimi inaugurated the event under the chairmanship of ICF Dubai Central President Abdul Salam Saqafi Vellalessery. Saadiyah President Syed Taha Bafaki led the prayers. ICF Gulf Council Secretary Sharif Karasseri, ICF leaders Asif Musliar, Ashraf Palakode, Jamal Haji and Samsudheen Payyoli. Ismail Kakkad welcomed and Abdul Majeed Madani thanked.
