Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has claimed that there are no such issues in Uttar Pradesh after clashes erupted in various states in connection with the Ram Navami celebrations. On Ram Navami, the state set an example that riots and anarchy have no place in UP. Adityanath said that Ram Navami celebrations and Ramadan celebrations are held in the state at the same time.
‘Ramanavami was celebrated last day. There are 25 crore people living in Uttar Pradesh. 800 Ramanavami processions were held across the state. Meanwhile, it is the month of Ramadan. There should also be several Iftar events. But there was no problem, ”said Yogi Adityanath.
‘It is a symbol of UP’s new development agenda. There is no room for riots, anarchy or gangsterism, ”he said.
Adityanath’s response comes after widespread violence against Muslims in five states across the country on Ram Navami. Clashes broke out in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Two were killed and several were injured in what became known as the Cold War.
